Christ’s return for a church "without spot or wrinkle" signifies His purpose to present a sanctified, holy, and perfected church, cleansed from all sin by His sacrifice and the Word.
A troubling question arises: If to be Heaven-admissible, the believer has to be both spotless and wrinkle-free, at what point then is this achieved, if we’re to have hope at all?
